NIBSCO SERVICES REPAIR PROCEDURE PROVIDING QUALITY REFURBISHMENT VALUE MEETING VALVE MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATIONS

Every refurbished valve accomplished through the Nibsco Services shops is guaranteed for two years to be free of defects in material and workmanship.

1. All valves receive complete, not partial, disassembly with every part properly cleaned and inspected.

2. All critical parts are checked to original manufacturer's tolerances and assurances.

3. All castings are sand blasted and checked for possible defects.

4. If necessary, all flanged surfaces are re-machined to a new finish.

5. All fasteners, gaskets, locking pins, etc. are replaced if necessary.

6. Complete new soft goods are installed to the original manufacturer's specifications.

7. All valves are appropriately hydro-tested and if a safety relief valve is being repaired,

a complete back pressure test is provided as standard.

8. All valves are painted with heavy duty primer and industrial finish coat, tagged accordingly.

9. Every valve is documented to the repair, controlled with a unique valve serial number supplied by Nibsco Services for quality control traceability.

In most cases, Nibsco Services' ability to completely refurbish industrial valves, ranges from 12 hours to 3 days if accomplishing the repair on standard valve products. On large jobs with appropriate planning, a second shift will supplement normal operating hours. Large jobs can be turned around extremely fast.

Please remember that ANY valve removed from sever service must be decontaminated. This service is available from NIBSCO, the appropriate MSDS documentation must be supplied.
